A fresh check of the official questions

I checked the app’s question bank against the Canton Zurich PDF and improved how saved questions receive corrections.

When you sit down to study, you want to spend your attention on learning the questions. The material in the app needs careful checking too.

In March, I compared the SwissFlashcards question bank with the Canton Zurich question-bank PDF and corrected the differences I found.

Check the details that matter while studying

The check covered question text, answer choices, choice order and question details. I also removed duplicate entries.

After the cleanup, the audit found matching questions and answer text across the app’s bank and the PDF used for that check, with no missing or extra questions.

It was a check of that version of the question bank. If you want to look at the original material, the Canton provides the official German question-bank PDF on its preparation page.

Let saved questions receive corrections

The app can keep a saved copy of questions in your browser. I improved how it replaces an older copy when corrections become available.

If you’ve been studying with saved questions, open the app while you’re online and let the questions load. A successful online load lets it refresh an outdated copy.

This work happens behind the scenes, but the purpose is practical: help you study from the checked material when you return to your questions.

Continue studying in SwissFlashcards.
