Choose a brighter or darker screen for studying
Switch between light and dark mode and keep the appearance you prefer in the browser you use for studying.
A bright screen might suit your morning study session. In the evening, you might prefer something darker.
I’ve added light and dark mode to SwissFlashcards so you can choose the appearance that feels comfortable for you.
Change the screen with one button
Use the appearance button in the top bar to switch between light and dark mode. You can change it while you’re studying and see which version you prefer.
The choice applies across the app, including your dashboard, practice questions and practice tests.
Come back to your preferred appearance
On a first visit, the app starts with your device’s light or dark preference. Once you make your own choice, it remembers it in that browser.
If you study in a different browser or on another device, you can choose the appearance there too.
It’s a small addition, but you spend a lot of your study time looking at the same screen. I hope having the choice makes that time a little more comfortable.
